I'm throwing a suprise birthday party i want a video game theme or just something dark. but i can't find any!!
*by dark i mean the colors black!.

You could always do a "transformers" theme!.
That would be fairly fun!. There is also "all hallows eve!." My friend is doing that one, it seems as though it will be fun, but you could just call it "zombies" you could have an "emo" party, there are tonnes of options but really, you need to find out more about what they like, what they don't like, and how they like it!.
If you did video games, you could have pacman projected onto the wall, and food shaped like mario mushrooms with a dark corner filled with bean bags and an xbox consol!.
If they like technology, you could always plan a LAN in their honor!.!.!.!. a LAN (from what I have been told) is basically where everybody brings along their computers and hook them together so you have one giant computer base that means you can play against each other!.!.!. they are usually like 2 straight days of no light, but if they like that kida thing, then go for it!Www@FoodAQ@Com
