At a 25th Anniversary party who should sit at the head table??!

Question:

At a 25th Anniversary party who should sit at the head table??

My husband and I are throwing a 25th anniversary party for his parents and the hall we rented has a head table. Who should sit at this table? Obviously the guests of honor but who else? Should it be their children and grandchildren or their original wedding party? I have never been to an anniversary party so I'm trying to wing throwing one! Please help!

Answers:
Either way would be good, but the original wedding party would be really cute. Make place cards out of copies of wedding pictures
You could go with the traditional silver decorations, or recreate the colors of the wedding. If it wasn't too horrible, the "bridesmaids' could choose to wear the colors of the wedding. You could even recreate the cake, have some of the same music.
But you might want to ask the "bride and groom" they might prefer something traditional.

I think it woudl be great if you could get the original wedding party together, because the pictures would be nice to have and you could compare them to those of yesterday and today. If that doesn't work then I think the couple being honored and their children is fine.

how many tables are there? if one then the hosts on one end and the guests of honor on the other end

if there are multiple tables, used round or square tables so that everyone is equal and put the table of the guest of honor in the middle
