Ideas for a carnival themed party?!

Question: Ideas for a carnival themed party!?
I'm having a 4th of July party this year at my house!. It will be a pool party with a BBQ and a DJ and we're hiring someone to put off big fireworks!. We're also thinking of having someone do caricatures!. I want it to be a carnival theme though and we're going to rent a dunk tank and we've seen it where you can rent bumper cars and stuff so we're thinking of doing that too!. Any other ideas for making this 4th of July carnival awesome!? Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cool idea!

Decorate in the colors of red and white, red and white balloons and streamers throughout the party!. It will look like carnival colors!.

Rent a cotton candy and popcorn machines!.

You can also go to a toy store and get those sand bottle kits, where you layer the different colored sands in the different shaped bottles!. Check the dollar store first and see if they have them and if not go to the toy store and pick up two or three of them and set up a table with them!.

You can also do an ice cream bar!. Get chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream!. Go to the dollar store and get those tall sundae glasses and get lots of toppings!. Sprinkles, chocolate syrup, caramel sauce, whipped cream, cherries, and have everyone make their own sundaes!.

Have someone dress up as a clown or hire one! You can even go to the party store and get things to make clown decorations and hang them around the party!.

Rent a bouncy castle!. Everyone, no matter what their age has fun in them!

You can do face painting and have someone that's willing to paint the guests' faces!. Don't hire someone, just ask one of your friends or family members if they're willing to do that and then go online or find non-toxic paint and do some face painting!.

You can also make some candy apples, caramel apples, go to the grocery store and get the big soft pretzels and pop them in the oven before the party and have them ready when the party starts!.

You can also with the bbq food of hamburgers and hot dogs have sausage and peppers and onions on rolls!.

You can have a slip and slide, water balloon fights, potato sack races, pie eating contests, three legged races, etc!.

It sounds like a great party and I hope some of these ideas help!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You might want to include costumes, too!. Clowns, of course, and also ring masters, lions, and since it's July 4th, some could come in red, white and blue attire!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

How about a palm reader!? You could set her up in a little tent !.!.!. I think you can rent "petting zoos" too !.!.!.!. And a couple of arcade games, like tossing beanbags into something, or rings over floating ducks, etc!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sell raffle tickets for a good door prize!.
