What would be good music for a party that i am hosting?
Its a graduation party for eighth graders. What is good music that people can dance to.

ask the 8th graders i'm sure they will be of help. they know what kind of music they like and what kind to dance to.
I would provide a mix of current music. You should probably make sure it is edited though!
just play a variety of rap, punk, and emo. you can dance 2 emo music pretty good, but the emo's don't jump at shows... jk idk ask ur friends.
Believe it not 1960s and early 70s music is the most fun to dance to and most kids now days are TURNING-ON to it aka TUNING-IN !!! Most of the lyrics are acceptable and not harmful as much of todays "music" is !!!! Get : the DVD set of great 60s music from TIME LIFE !!!!! You'll be the best most demanded DJ in town !!! Throw in some 80s DISCO music and I think you and the kids will have a MARVELOUS TIME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
Try this -- I've got grandkids this age and even though they think their music is cool , whenever I have GREAT 60S MUSIC and 80s DISCO on they CANNOT SIT STILL ---- THEY ARE UP AND DANCING & SO AM I !!!!!!! You can always send the DVDs back! Play them through your computer 1st ~ : ) !!!!!!!
