Oh no! It's supposed to rain on the day of my beach party! What to do?
I am supposed to have my birthday party at the beach on Saturday, and upon looking at the weather for the weekend, the forecast says rain!!!
What should I do now? I was thinking possibly bowling, but don't want people to have to spend money... or perhaps moving the bash inside and to my house.
What does everyone think? And how can I make it a fun day. Can't let a little rain ruin the day.
(I'm in college, turning 23 by the way... so drinking is in, as well as fun themes.)

Ok, love the idea of still having at the beach if it rains. It might be chilly (damn New England) but I think tents and Slip-and Slide are great. Any other ideas?

Well 2 suggestions got gazebo thingys.
or if its still warm but raining. get some polythene on the ground abit of washing-up liquid run up jump on it and slide its a great laugh noone's ever too old for that.
or just go to the pub
You get wet at the beach anyway when you go swimming. So what's the diff?
If it rains have a toga party and drink who cares when your drunk. And remember no present no party its your day!!!!
Move the party inside of your house. This will help you stay away from the rain and since you're planning to serve alcohol, you should drink that inside anyways. Also, people don't have to drive home drunk after the party ends.

i'd say take the party back to your house. if it were me i'd have it in the rain anyway, have people bring swimsuits and party in the rain, cuz its different & spontaneous. I'd put up tents and stuff.
Host the party, within the safe confines of your house.
y don't u still have it at the beach until it rains for sure if it doesn't YAY but if it does don't worry about it bring it inside make sure on friday u put all ur break ables in ur locked bed room play the alfebet game where u have a bottle of STRONG achohal then u clap ur hands then clap them on ur lap and go around in a circle naming things (ex. states and citys) in order or the alphebet and who ever messes up first drinks a shot for instence clap ( hands) clap ( lap) alabama clap (hands) clap ( lap) baltimore make sure the beat is not to slow though!

Depending on how many people, purchase a few 10' X 12' pole awnings set them upon the beach. You still will have cover from the rain but be able to partay and not completely ruin the day!

get a bunch of leis, some inflatable palm trees, cheap $1 sunglasses and rent a margarita machine....just move the party indoors!
