Need ideas for my black and white sweet 16 party!!!?!
well!.!.!.!.so far i have a few ideas!. i want everything to be black/white except for my dress!.!.!.some things on my cake!.!.and my boyfriends tie!. is that a dumb idea!?!?!? everyone has to where black/white too!. i want cake sparklers so my cake is sparkly and i want blinking ballons EVERYWHERE! imma have a dj and a choclate/punch foutain!. i have no idea what i want for food or what imma do for other decorations so if you gots any ideas i would really appreciate it!.

You can decorate with black and white balloons and streamers!. Black and white tableclothes and napkins!. You can do one table in a black tablecloth and one in white, etc!. alternating!. Then alternate place settings, one person have a black napkin, the next white, etc!.
I've never seen blinking balloons, but you can get stringed white Christmas lights and have them around the ceiling and walls of the party!.
I love the idea of everyone aside from you and your boyfriend in black and white, it shows who the guest of honor is! Any color you chose to wear or have your boyfriend's tie in is going to go, black and white goes with anything!
For food, you can do those black and white iced cookies, they're the ones that are have chocolate and half vanilla, you can do a chocolate fountain, chocolate cake, and even do cupcakes on those tiered holders and ice them some in chocolate icing and some in vanilla!.
You can also go to the m&m's website and order black and white m&m's and they will personalize them for you with your name and that it's your sweet 16 on them!. You can put them in clear little vases as a centerpiece, or put them in clear cellaphane bags, tie them with black and white ribbon and make them your favors for your guests!.
You can also do your cake in black and white!. Have it done in white icing and the decorations and writing done in black!.
For your invites you can say:
It's my sweet 16 in black and white!
Wear those colors, nothing bright!
Join me to celebrate this fun night
In your best black or white!
You want to make sure your guests know you want them to wear black or white!. Or you could just make the invite any way you want, and then say, "please, this is a black and white themed party, wear ONLY black and/or white clothing ONLY, NO colors!"

WOW! That sounds great! it accentuates the fact that you are the bell of the ball and black and white arre both very classy, especially when put together! Maybe you could make it a kind of cinderrella ball, or a masquered party!?
Food is going to be difficult as there isn't too much you can get black and white, although I love chocolate fountains! So you definately need one of those there!
You have so many possibilities when it comes to food its unbelievable, so the best suggestion I can give is hire a party planner!.!. they are pricy but by god if you want a good night they are woth it!
I really hope your night goes well, red really stands out, it would be a very 1920's theme if you did choose that to be your colour, IM SO EXITED FOR YOU!!

well depending on the color of your dress you can throw in some of that with the blinking balloons plus if you re looking for a bakery style cake with a low budget forget it lol they cost a lot what i did was went to my local Albertans (grocery store and had them make cup cakes with roses so you could have ones with black roses others with white and a few with your dress color if you haven't already picked a dress color try a pink or red but silver will really pop and make you stand out
