The obvious would be a pool party, but they'll proboly be dozens of those. A camp out slumber party might be fun. You could roast marshmallows, make smores, tell ghost stories, and sleep in a tent in the back yard if you don't want to have it at a park.
Theres also skating rink parties. Those are a lot of fun if you don't bust your behind like I usually did.
Whatever you decide have a great birthday.

It depends on what you enjoy doing. I remember my 13th birthday (I have a summer birthday as well) my parents took two car loads of my friends to the shore (New Jersey) it was fairly low key and very much enjoyable.
