Answers:
First, how many people, and inside or outside..easy foods, finger sandwiches, (tuna, veggie, bologna or ham spread, crudites' (raw veggie platters) punches, cold salads, (garden, pasta, chicken salads, tuna salads, oriental salads.
Inside, decorate in colors, or a theme you like, if it's all women, flowers, and go on that color.
(need any help, contact me, this is what I do for a living!)

Ok you have ot have like those mini sandwiche things (basically cut a sandwich in quarters(triangular)) and put stuff people will like i.e cheese/jam/chocolate spead/cucumber and tomato/tuna, etc. Be creative! Also have a choclate fountain with marshmallows, and strawberries and bananas for people to dip into! Good luck. (Have loads of sweets as little random snacks all over the palce!)

Tea sandwiches, assorted pastries/cookies. You can decorate with fresh flowers. We did this for a tea with my family and it worked out really well!

I have been and hosted several. The decorating tip is make it elegant and memorable. If you choose to use throw away get those that look like the real stuff.Foods-mini muffins, sliced breads, jams&preserves, fruit bowl, quartered sandwiches, chocolate dipped strawberries are great, and if you are having it a.m. and want something to fill up on make a breakfast cassarole.Hope this helps....
