Pages and pages of them! Have fun!

Decorating a Table is like putting your outfit together. For those of you on a budget...go to the Dollar Store. You really should look at your dishes and pick two other colors to co-ordinate. Three colors as your food will do the rest. I like going to the dollar stores and getting crystal goblets, votive's, and a vase...glass or color and add fresh flowers (Do not get a vase to large as you can keep them on the table while eating so it does not interfere with conversation.) You may also use something from your house that you use to decorate with in another room. The craft stores even sell centerpieces made for these low arrangements (turtle backs?) Creamer,sugar..etc..use glass/cut crystal can be found Walmart,Target etc. I would then take some greenery and 1 flower and lay on plate with the guest name. This looks nice if you are not using a floral centerpiece. Put your napkins in goblet from one of your 3 colors. Less is better and the crystal or clear glass keep the table looking fresh even when the event is over. Sometimes...silverware we have doesn't match or tacky again go to the Dollar Store and match it up. Do not use paper products unless it's very informal. Green leaves, crystal and white tablecloths for summer with shimmering tealights. Desserts....buy them decorated to add some color and it will look elaborate! Once again it's just like putting your outfit on for the day. Make it fun and elegant!!!
