I need some ideas for end of term party?!

Question:

I need some ideas for end of term party?

I am organizing an “end of exams party” and I need some ideas. The university is providing the budget and space, so nothing too crazy. Any Ideas?

Answers:
Put all the budget of stacks of beer and crates of wine and get the catering department to come up with the food.

Go to you catering department and ask them what they can do. You may have to bargain apprentice style...
Go for best price as if they even whiff budget they will take you for a ride because they think the University is paying for it.
You have to think about other things apart from catering and get some fairly decent finger food in an estimated batch or quantity at the right price.

When I started my University course we had a party to meet enveryone and we ate fried cheeses and sanwiches and chicken and had alot of alchohol.

I think people who came would appreciate a loungs a drink and some food and a chat.

If you work out numbers and a budget or spend for each person based on what the Uni are giveing you .. you will have an idea of what you can possibly do and once you have your food figures and drink figs down to a tee than it is possible then there is room to ask for more money if you fall short and have a reason.

It does not sound like you have money for a ball and the union normally organises that

Hat party where everyone has to wear a hat.easy to organise and most people will take part

Here is a great cake if it not to out there for the university...
"Kitty Litter Cake"

CAKE INGREDIENTS:
1 box spice of German chocolate cake mix
1 box of white cake mix
1 package white sandwich cookies
1 large package vanilla instant pudding mix
A few drops green food coloring
12 small Tootsie Rolls or equivalent

SERVING "DISHES AND UTENSILS"
1 NEW cat-litter box 1 NEW cat-litter box liner 1 NEW pooper scooper

1) Prepare and bake cake mixes, according to directions, in any size pan. Prepare pudding and chill. Crumble cookies in small batches in blender or food processor. Add a few drops of green food coloring to 1 cup of cookie crumbs. Mix with a fork or shake in a jar. Set aside.

2) When cakes are at room temperature, crumble them into a large bowl. Toss with half of the remaining cookie crumbs and enough pudding to make the mixture moist but not soggy. Place liner in litter box and pour in mixture.

3) Unwrap 3 Tootsie Rolls and heat in a microwave until soft and pliable. Shape
The blunt ends into slightly curved points. Repeat with three more rolls. Bury the rolls decoratively in the cake mixture. Sprinkle remaining white cookie crumbs over the mixture, then scatter green crumbs lightly over top.

4) Heat 5 more Tootsie Rolls until almost melted. Scrape them on top of the cake and sprinkle with crumbs from the litter box. Heat the remaining Tootsie Roll until pliable and hang it over the edge of the box. Place box on a sheet of newspaper with sign below, and serve with scooper. Enjoy!
