What kind of B should I bring to a BYOB?!

Question:

What kind of B should I bring to a BYOB?

I also need some ideas for yummy snack ideas, because I also need to bring a snack to share.

Answers:
Bring whatever you like to drink! I try to stay away from stuff too expensive that way you won't be upset when someone decides to help themselves. Chips and dip is always a good thing to bring. Or you could bring cheese meat and crackers. Or if you have a crock pot those little smokies are awesome! Have a fun night!!

Wine or beer is the easiest. No need for a mixer.
I am an expert when it comes to party snacks. The best ones are dips (like a 7-layer Mexican dip, or spinach-artichoke dip) and finger foods (like deviled eggs, brownies or pinwheels). Anything that doesn't require a plate & fork. When you're at a party, people like to walk by the food table & grab something while they're mingling. Whenever I take something easy to grab-&-go, I never take any of it home.

Beer in a cooler because there will not be any room in the fridge, wherever you are going

7-Up, Sprite, or Sierra Mist. Not everyone wants to get drunk.

A mix of crackers and cheese.

Grab a bottle of Maddog 20/20 and a bag of pork rinds!

If it's BYOB, are you bringing something for yourself, or is it a community pool of booze? If it's for everyone to share, I usually bring vodka. You can get it for cheap and everyone likes vodka.

As far as snacks, it depends on how much time and effort you want to put into it. If you're looking for something simple, you can grab a couple boxes of those frozen quiches -- those always seem to go over well. If you're looking to make something by hand, I agree with the first poster on taco dip!

Bring some white trash for a snack it is great party pleaser for all ages and kinds of people. You can get the recipe online just about anywhere. It is made with chex mix and all that good stuff and you add confectionery sugar! Such a great treat! For the B I would bring some new fun Smirnoff drinks. They are so good. I have not tried the Raw Tea yet but the other flavors are great! Blue raspberry is the best I think!

I would bring Bud Light, that seems to be the most popular beer among our crowd. As far as a snack...this is very addicting

1 can of refried beans
1 container of sour cream
1 package of Hidden Valley Ranch Mix
Shredded Cheese
Diced Tomatoes

Mix sour cream with Ranch Mix. Then layer beans, ranch mix, shredded cheese and tomatoes. Use regular tortilla chips for dip.

My suggestion is to put a spoon in the dip with some plates close by. I don't know how "close" you are with the other party goers, but you always have an occasional "double-dipper"!

Bring a bottle of white Phiat D Or. This is a wonderful wine. Make a crab pate and bring crackers. Here is a great Website for recipes at recipesource.com This place has the recipes!

wine or beer is good to share, as for snacks, maybe some sausage rolls, or a veggie platter with dip

bring ur fav beer.....its bring ur own beer...so whatever u like best is what u should bring.......also pretzels go great with beer....

if you dont know what to take i say your best bet is vodka, it mixes with everything. people that dont drink your brand of beer will usually still have a vodka drink, there is usually always something sitting around as a mixer, kool-aid to 7up,
white corn tortilla chips with salsa is a good snack

I always bring a 12 pack of beer and some chips and dip. I'm unimaginative.

The B should be what you like to drink or share.Snacks,I would take some dry salami and spread cream cheese in it,then wrap it around a gherkin..Good.Take some pretzels sticks and poke them thru cheeses, pepperoni chunks, olives, baby tomatoes, and black olives..hope this helps....
