Help! Need Ideas for a Leaving Party!?
My Husband and I are leaving the UK at the end of August and need some ideas for a leaving party. We can't really afford to hire out a venue and we don't have a house big enough to have a party there. So any great ideas on the cheap would be much appreciated!

Make it a bring your own drinks. Also what we have done is set up a decorated Klennex box and a book for friends comments. The box is for " Resettlement Funds." Make the event more of a social gathering for friends and just eat, drink and chat. You really don't need dancing and all of the hoopla that goes with it. I hope this helps.
Do you know of any club houses to rent? Here in the states, most of the apartment complexes have a clubhouse, and they allow tenants to rent it. A lot of them are very nice and come w/ the works--tv, full kitchen, ample seating, etc.
Don't botter paying to have a party. I'M sure that they will have a party of their own once you leave.

have it at ur house but have it outside....outdoors is a huge area...and since the weather is nicer these days it will be the perfect time to host an outside party! good luck and have fun!
