3 year olds Birthday Party?!

Question: 3 year olds Birthday Party!?
My sons 3rd Birthday is on Monday, but we are celebrating it Saturday at the Park!. The Park is really nice, and it is right next to the river!. I wanted to know what kind of food we should provide!. It isn't a huge party!. Maybe a couple small kids, and like 10 adults or less!. And the party is at 2pm!. So, the party is after lunch!. I cant get anything that needs to stay cold because we live in Alabama and it is pretty hot, and the party is outside!. If anyone has any ideas on what kinds of food/drinks we should get that would be great!.!.!. also, do you think I should buy outside games like horsehoes, crocket, etc!. for the adults to play with!? Thanks to anyone who leaves a message!. I need to know as soon as possible because we are going shoping tomorrow for everything!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

First, contact your local fire department or police department!. They're usually happy to send people out to talk with the kids:)!.!.!.and the firemen usually let the kids climb all over the fire truck!.!.!.!.!.!. I don't think you should spend the extra money for games for the adults, unless it's something that you'd use in the future!. Adults are usually happy to sit and relax, and they should be keeping an eye on their own kids, anyways!.!.!.!.!.

veggie/dip platter; fruit platter!.!.!.!.!.!.

ARTICHOKE NIBBLES
2 (6 oz) jars marinated artichoke hearts (chopped)
1 small onion, chopped
1 clove minced garlic
1/4 c!. dry fine bread crumbs
1/4 tsp!. salt
1/8 tsp!. EACH tabasco, oregano and pepper
1/2 lb!. shredded cheddar cheese
2 Tb!. minced parsley
4 eggs
Mix everything together really well and put into greased 7x11" pan!. Bake at 325 for 30 min (or until set when lightly touched)!. Let cool in pan; cut into 1" squares!. Serve cold or room temp!. (I make this ALOT for buffets)

SALSA DIP
4 chopped tomatoes
3-4 chopped green onions
1/2 small chopped green pepper
1 small cana chopped mild green chilies, drained
1 small can sliced ripe olives, drained
1-2 TB!. EACH vinegar and oil
salt & pepper to taste
Mix all together and chill for several hours!. Serve with tortilla chips!. (There's nothing in here that will go "bad" if it sits outside)

PINEAPPLE CHEESE BALL
2 (8 oz) pkg!. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c!. grated cheddar cheese
1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
2 TB!. EACH chopped green pepper & onion
1 tsp!. seasoned salt
1/2 c!. chopped nuts
crackers
Combine all ingredients (except nuts & crackers); mix well!. Shape into a ball and roll in nuts!. Chill several hours (but take out at least 1/2 hr!. before serving) !.!.!. serve with crackers !.!.!.!.!. (Cheese actually tastes better at room temp)

I'd get a "cupcake cake", which is cupcakes pushed together and frost as one cake on top!. It's easier for the kids to eat, and easier to serve!. Kroger has them in their bakery, and I'm sure other groceries do too !.!.!. whatever theme you wantWww@FoodAQ@Com

Great idea TX2! I can only stress about watching these young ones with that river nearby!Www@FoodAQ@Com
