Anyone have a good party idea?!

Question:

Anyone have a good party idea?

I'm turning 16 in November...it can't be outside, and I really don't think I want it at my house (my house is nothing spectacular lol) Maybe some themes too? And food ideas too.
Well, thanks!

Answers:
For my daughters 16th we had a scavenger hunt. Everyone had cameras and had to take pics of there teams doing all kinds of crazy things. Each task was alloted points and the team with most points won a prize.
Some of the tasks were:
*take a pic at a fountain----bonus points for being IN the fountain
*road kill
*go to a restaurant and talk manager into letting your team "work" and take pic
*pic with a farm animal
* pic of team trying on new shoes
you can make the tasks endless.....the key is finding the best tasks and doing it quickly because the first team to return won bonus points for being back first.
We all met up at a local restaurant for drinks cake and ice cream......awarded prizes and it was a blast
My daughter still says it was the best party ever.............need help with this idea give me ayell at aol....carrielynn68

Are you near a big city?

What is your budget? Are we talking 'My Sweet 16' style?

How about a dinner cruise?
Go to a concert or sports event and get a luxury box.

Host an overnight party at your local YMCA where you and your friends can hang out all night swimming, playing games and just hanging out.

have a (I cant beleive they did that) kinda theme. They had a TV show like that where people would eat and do weird stuff and so on. Cant remember the name.

you rent a ball room out or a place where you can rent for events or your best friends or family members house ..I think your theme should be something that you enjoy and you want people to acknowledge that this party is for you and the theme is all about you good luck happy early B day.. good luck

iv always wanted to have a party like this-black lights-disco ball-glow in the dark-blasting music-like a rave-idk always sounded fun

Congrats on big 16. :) That's cool. Well, your party/theme should be something that screams ALI. Are you a "princess" type girl, do you like lots of pink and frilly things...then have a party using that for a theme. Or if you're a animal type person, have your party at the zoo. If you like the museum, go there for the day with your friends. Tie the party in with things you like. If you need more ideas or need help with something specific, you can email me. I love to plan parties and have had many very successful ones; birthday parties, bridal, baby, anniversary. I've planned a lot.

See if you could have your party at a friends house or in friends basement.

Have a Retro Skating Party @ a Roller Rink. . Have everyone dress 70's. I thinks that's cute! Get some Bee Gee's music, 70's movie's soundtracks. For food just stick to finger foods, chips & dips, mini hotdogs, veggie tray, buffalo wings, cheese & fruit platter, sodas, punch, cake. To get insperation watch the movies Xanadu, Saturday Night Fever, and Studio 54. You can also go to the following website for decoration ideas & props.
