Ideas for a sweet 16 birthday party?!

Question:

Ideas for a sweet 16 birthday party?

Since my house really is not that big.. im interested in having my birthday party at a big restaurant or renting a hall or something like that.. My spending limit will probably be around 150-200 dollars.. The max of people i will invite will probably be about 50 or so.. give or take a few.. I want it to be a night i will always remember and be affordable at the same time.. My birthday is not intill august 3rd but i figure i should start thinking about it. Does anyone know where i can get some deals on renting a hall or think of any other place that would be great for a 16th birthday party? Thanks.. tips and suggestions will be appreciated (:

Go to the zoo with ur closest friends i did it and ill never forget it ...It was amazing!
( I WENT TO THE BRONX ZOO!)

Well.....really if your parents could pick up the cost of the rented hall(prob $400-$500) then maybe you can budget and maybe get by with $200 dollars. But there is always maybe the idea of making ur backyard the place of the party. Set up a table(with basic refreshments), hang sum lights from trees, set up some music. General stuff. you don't have to go all out, wut will be important is that your friends were there with you at that special moment.

How about a celebrity them? roll some red felt out for a walk way and have "photographers" (aka parents) photo the guest. Guest could walk around with autograph books and your other guest could sign them.

How about at a skating or ice skating rink. Its big and affordable and you could rent it out for the night!

How about a Hawaiian theme? Sounds graet to me! There's food, decoration, and LOTS of fun. I would do it if I had enough money!

I suggest miniturize(hope i spelled that right) everything!
mini hot dogs
mini hamburgurs
mini pastries for dessert

I'd also suggest a salad bar, quesidillas, and cocktail shrimp!

To finish it all off with a bange! have a chocolate fountain and cupcakes with your initials on them!

Have fun and happpy sweet sixteen
