You can go to the m&m's website and get pink and white m&ms and have them personalized with the name of the mom to be and the date of the shower!. You can put some in a cellophane bag and tie them with pink and white ribbon and give them to the guests!.

I SO agree with you about junk and how most of it ends up as clutter!

What about those clear soaps that have little animals embedded in them!? You can tie them in clear cellophane and then guests can use them for their own children in the baths or pass them onto people they know with children!.

You can get a little terra cotta pot and some seedlings and then ask the guests to plant the seeds when the find out the baby's been born so the plants grow with the baby!. You can even paint/decorate the little pots!.

You can do little frames so when the baby is born they have a little frame to put the baby's picture in!. You can do a little wallet size frame and decorate it!. You can get those letter beads at the craft store and bead them on with wire or paint the frame white and decorate it with paint so people have a frame!.

What about those magnetic frames!? A lot of people love to put things on their refigerators, you can get a magnetic frame and type up a thank you poem, put it in the frame and when the baby's born, they can put the picture of the baby in the frame and take out the poem!.

What about little rubber ducks!? You can put little pink hats on them, or get pink ribbons and in a fabric pen write the mom to be's name and the date of the shower!. I've seen them in Walgreens where they sell a few of them together in like a mesh bag!. They have like a big duck and then smaller ducks together!. You can buy a few of the mesh bags and split up the ducks!. You can even do a search online for rubber ducks and order a batch of small ones, add a pink bow or ribbon, anyone can add one to their bathroom by their tub for decoration or give it to their child/grandchild!.

Everyone likes flowers, you can do "baby" or mini bouquets!. Get the mini carnations in pink and white and put like two of each color in each bouquet and put in some baby's breath, add some pink and white ribbon and hand them flowers!. No one would complain about a little bouquet of flowers!. You could even go to the dollar store and get some clear vases to put them in too!.

You can also do like "mommy's cupful or mugful of love" and do either a cup of coffee or tea, go to the dollar store and get mugs or tea cups and then get either coffee packets or teas, and put them in the mugs/cups, with some sugar swizzle sticks, and a scoop, wrap them in cellophane, and give them to your guests!.

I hope some of these ideas help!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I copies this right off the Baby Shower guide on my website!.!.!.!.I think they are excellent gifts that would be appreciated by your guests!!

BATH SALT FAVORS:
A great favor (or prize!) at the shower!.!.!.!.everyone loves a home-spa experience!! Buy bath salts in bulk (Ebay is a great resource for this!!)!. Buy cellophane gift bags or small mason jars to place the bath salts in!. Create custom labels made with all your baby shower information and attach these labels to the ribbon at the top of each individual cellophane bag or jar!!!

Suggestion: Budget for 1/2 pound to 1 pound per guest attending for this favor or prize!! Bath salts are heavy and what may sound like a lot when purchasing usually winds up being about half of what you expected!.

Purchase a nice medium sized wicker basket!. Fill it with a blockbuster gift card, a couple of packages of Movie-Theatre Style Popcorn, and some gourmet soda, tea or juice!. Tie it up with shrink wrap or tulle!. Instant Home-Movie Night!!!
