How to make jello shots with ever clear?!
How to make jello shots with ever clear?
Answers:
You'll need to find some small plastic cups (usually the kind they use in grocery stores for sampling foods).
Pick your favorite flavor of jello.
Boil the water like on the package instructions.
Add the jello and stir till disolved.
(Now comes the hardest part, yeah right).
When the package says to add cold water...add only 1/2 of the amount of water that they ask for. The other half of the liquid will be your favorite liqueur. My preference is vodka.
Be sure to put your liqueur in the freezer (no it won't freeze...it's ALCOHOL) at least 4 hours before you start this or it won't be cold enough to set the jello.
Pour the jello/alcohol mix into the little cups (filling them about 1/2 full.)
Place in refrigerator to set

You can substitue the vodka with everclear. It should work just fine. ;)
1 cup of water, bring to a boil
pour in to a bowl, add the jello mix and stir till the mix is compleatly disolved, this takes about 2 min or so,
the 1 cup of everclear, chilled, stir again for about 2 min
pour mix in to paper shot cupsor dixi cups.
chill for a few hours
drink
if you want to make a dubble batch just doubble everything,
have fun!
Make your shots in small condiment cups the usual way (jello, boiling water ,1/2c vodka) and you can also add a marachino cherry soaked in 151. A friend of mine does this now and it's great!!! Really good with pineapple jello! Cheers!!
Instead of using the cold water, just substitute Everclear. Make sure you still use the boiling water and that you chill the alcohol before mixing it in. You can get little paper shot glasses at most party stores, sometimes they even have little covers- my friend buys them for our parties all the time.
yeah.... I don't know if you are aware that everclear is a grain alcohol and it is MUCH STRONGER than regular vodka...be careful or everyone will be throwing up at your house!
Dissolve jello in 1 c hot water. stir, once dissolved add 1c cold ever clear. pour into shot glass (plastic or paper dental cups) and refrigerate until set.
