8!. Birthday cake
9!. Dessert (pudding)
10!. Dessert (drinking dessert)
11!. marble cake

I would go with something a bit more simple so that you can actually enjoy the day too instead of being stuck in a kitchen!. What about!.!.!.
1!. fruit platter (kids or adults)
2!. mini pizza's (kids)
3!. sausage rolls (kids)
4!. cheese scones (kids)
5!. chicken nuggets (kids)
6!. chicken wings (adults)
7!. kebabs (adults)
8!. a tossed salad (adults)
9!. birthday cake (dessert for everyone)
10!. lolly bags (kids)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I really like the selection you have, I want to go to the party! It's good to mix standard foods with something people don't usually have everyday!. It does seem like you have way too much food, though!. I would recommend you get rid of the BBQ chicken, chicken noodle soup, the marble cake, and one of the desserts!. Get one of those huge vegetable platters instead with ranch dressing in the middle!. I also think that if you give kids the choice of hot dogs or chicken noodle soup, they will choose hot dogs!. It sounds like you are preparing for at least 20 people!. If there aren't that many people coming, don't kill yourself preparing all this food!. Hope you and your daughter have fun!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't even remember my first birth day but in the end it really isn't about that people!. It's about friends/family getting together!. I'd probably eliminate the Shitake mushroom dish and maybe replace the Pork Chops with hamburgers (BBQ style!?) since you already have BBQ Chicken!. I would also substitute the marble cake (since you already have birthday cake) for some sort of pie or ice cream such as apple pie and vanilla ice cream!. I also don't feel rice is practical in a backyard bbq especially if you eliminate the bean curd!. Last but not least I would add some chips @ dip, potato salad, and maybe shrimp cocktail!. People usually find that stuff easy and the majority of people like it!.

PS: Don't forget the hot sauce =)Www@FoodAQ@Com

If her party is anything like mine (big gathering of huge Italian family and friends), it's great with variety!.

If it's not such a big party!.!.!. I suggest emilinating to save some money for decorations and other things!. Why have chicken AND chicken wings!? Just make half Buffalo Wings, and half BBQ wings!. If you're having noodles, why do you need rice!? The bean curd sounds a bit excessive too, but maybe that's because it doesn't sound appitizing to me lol!. I suggest a macoroni or potato salad for those who like more typical "back yard BBQ foods!." I also don't see a point in two cakes, especially if you have pudding and fruit for dessert!.

Either way!.!.!. this is one lucky girl to have such a big party!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Eliminate #'s 1,3,5,6,7,9,10,11 & 12!.
Fruit is always good to have!.
Birthday cake is the only dessert you need!.
Chicken is nice, but having hotdogs for everybody
is acceptable!.

Kids never remember the first birthday party - true, but
if you can afford it, I say go for it!. My motto: "Never live
regretting a chance you didn't take"

Have fun - lots of it!Www@FoodAQ@Com

This seems like a whole lot of food!. Depending on how many people are coming, I would say delete all the desserts except birthday cake and I don't think you need any soup!. It seems like you may be going over board with all this food!. Keep it simple so you don't stress out!. If people don't like what you have to offer, then they don't have to eat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hi, Freeze a petitis yogurt in the pot, with a lolly stick, when open use the pot as a drip tray, decorate each pot with glitter & names, all under ones can lick the lolliesWww@FoodAQ@Com

Dont stress about 1st birthday!. Your daughter wont remember!. You just need that pivotal picture of her trying her first birthday cake!.

Everything else is just gravy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

this is for a 1st birthday!?
sounds!.!.!.good ^_^Www@FoodAQ@Com
