I also make the spinach dip on the Knorr's package of vegetable soup, but I put the dip into a hollowed-out sourdough round and refrigerate it several hours!. Then serve it in the sourdough round, with sliced baguettes to spread it on !.!.!.!.!.!.

PINK SHRIMP DIP
6 oz!. softened cream cheese
1/3 c!. mayonnaise
2 TB!. chili sauce
2 tsp!. lemon juice
1/2 tsp!. onion powder
1/4 tsp!. Worchestershire sauce
1/2 lb!. finely chopped cooked shrimp
Mix everything together really well and chill!. Serve with crackers or celery sticks to dipWww@FoodAQ@Com

You didn't mention if the hors d' oeuvres should be hot or cold!.

But one of my favorites is spinach dip and it can be served both hot and cold!.

Just get a package of "Knors" vegetable soup mix and follow the directions!.

I usually serve the dip on toast that I cut out with a cookie cutter, cocktail bread or toasted french bread sliced on the horizontal (great when dip is hot) and top with a dollop of dip!.

improvise with chopped bacon, cream cheese or whatever turns you on!.

Another of my favorites is water chestnuts wrapped in bacon !. !. !. Yum!Www@FoodAQ@Com

This one is always a hit at parties: http://entertaining!.about!.com/od/appetiz!.!.!.

You can also get some high grade fresh tuna, slice it, sear it, and put it on top of toasted bread with a hummus spread!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
