I need to know how much punch i need for 350 people 9 oz glasses?
ingredients are to be used 1 gal jug of hawiian punch, 1(2 liter) bottle of ginger ale and 1 (2 liter);o bottle of squirt. This is for 1 batch of punch, how much do i need to purchase to serve approximately 2 glasses per person.

WHAT? NO FROZEN SHERBERT???? Awe come on jazz it up a bit---the sherbert gives it a little color and flavor and makes it foam a bit---get the multicolored sherbert and put it in FROZEN... Ok since there isn't any booze in it (although vodka mixes VERY WELL in this punch mix).... at 2 glasses a piece, that's 18 oz for 350 people so you multiply 350 by 18 to get the total # ounces of punch you will need 6.300 oz of punch mixture..... ... Find out how much liquid fits into each punch bowl---it either says on the box how much OR take a gallon jug of water and pour it into the punch bowl as many times until it is full.... for our purpose here lets just say the punch bowl can hold 2 gallons of fluid. There are 256 OUNCES in 2 gallons...so each punch bowl will hold 256 OUNCES IF it is a 2 gallon punch bowl... these figures should be cut in HALF if your bowl only hold 1 gallon of fluid. Ok confused yet... it gets better.... SO you will need 24 and 1/2 punch bowls of punch for 350 people... so figure out how much of your ingrediants goes into ONE (2 gallon punch bowl) and then multiply that by 24---so if it takes 1 gallon of Hawaian punch for one bowl---you will need 24 GALLONS for 24 bowls...24 bottles of Squirt, 24 bottles of Gingerale and if you USE the sherbert, 12 half gallon containers cut in half....
and if you decide to put booze in.... well you may have to rob a bank for that one....
Here's a simple break down.............I used to cater parties...................To have exactly enough for 18oz per guest you 22 bottles of each HPun, Squirt and GIn ALe but you need to allow for spills and pigs.........lol I would buy 25 of each.
Is this a good punch? I have lots of recipes but never heard of this one!
