What is the best way to keep 5 children (ages 1 - 6) entertained while adults enjoy conversation and outdoor cuisine?

for my sons b day party I hid fake money around the yard and house and told the kids the three with the most money will get a prize kept them busy for hours.
That's a big age difference. A 1 or 2 year old cant be left to his own devices anyway and needs constant supervision. Maybe get a slip and slide for the older kids.
I would rent one of those big jumping things...i can`t remember what they are called but i believe you can call a party rental place and they will help ya...They have a net all the way around and it would definitely wear them out...lol...have fun
