What should I do?!

Question:

What should I do?

My friend is allergic to milk and for my party next week we are having milkshakes. What should I make for her? And what other suggestions do you have for food?

Answers:
Easy! Make hers w/ Lactaid milk! :)

Source(s):
My husband is lactose intolerat too

soymilk shake? It's actually tastier and her fart will not smell as bad

I don't know..make her a cupcake?

lemon aid

chocoshakes?

Buy rice milk, made to taste like milk but made from rice.

make them with soy milk

How about a fruit smoothie. Or you can even make her a "milk fake" instead of a milk SHAKE. Instead of using ice cream and milk use non dairy sorbet and lactose free milk.

tea, coffee, cool aid, diet drinks, fruit punch.

You could make her a fruit smoothie. Finger sandwiches, chips & dip, fresh cut fruit, vegtables with ranch, and brownies. Another good drink to serve is ice, orange juice, and ginger ale mixed together. It makes a great party drink with a punch!

well ur only alternative is a soy milkshake. beyond that I am sure she is understanding, plus I am sure she is use to this already. afterall, milk is such a piss poor thing to be allergic too, since all the good sweets like ice cream and cake are made from milk. Ask her what she likes or can have that may appeal to her sweet tooth.

Well, i work at a Barnes & Noble Bookstore, and these are the top 3 recipe books I have found for people who have milk allergies or lactose intollerant people. The very first book from the list, people tell me they LOVE. and if you find some cool deserts in there, make something for her , then give the book to her as a gift for her birthday maybe? That would be delightful.
Have fun! :)

Since it is summer why not Margarita's and daiquiris ? if your not of age to drink make virgin ones or just make smoothies .

why don't you try making smoothies too? they're much healthier, too.

i hope all goes good :)

Have a sorbet or fruit smoothie stand instead. Her smoothie does not have to contain milk. Does this party have an otherwise theme? How long is the party? For what occassion? Inside / outside? How many people? I need more details.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'allergic to milk', but if you mean they are lactose intolerant, then this may help:

4 cups LACTAID? Reduced Fat Milk
1 4-serving-size package lactose-free instant chocolate pudding
Few drops vanilla (optional)
1/2 cup ice cubes

Pudding mix replaces ice cream to thicken these easy-to-fix, kid-pleasing shakes.

Makes: 5 servings
Serving Size: 1 cup
Start to Finish: 10 minutes

In a blender container combine milk, pudding mix, and if desired, vanilla.

Cover and blend until smooth. Add ice cubes; cover and blend until combined. Let stand 3 minutes to thicken slightly.

Make-Ahead Tip: Prepare shakes as directed and pour into a covered container. Chill up to 12 hours. If necessary, stir a little additional LACTAID? Reduced Fat Milk into each shake before serving.

Soymilk is a good idea.

Smoothies without milk.

Smoothie or soymilk

Maybe you should make her or every one a slushy with any flavor.

Make her a fruit smoothie. Some frozen fruit, thawed a little, with ice and juice makes a great substitute for a milkshake.
