A themed 22nd birthday party???!

Question:

A themed 22nd birthday party???

I was thinking of having a birthday party. But not sure if I should have it as a themed one or not??? If it is a themed birthday party any ideas??? My birthday is in the spring. Although the neighbourhood that i live in,is on the upmarket side of town, my neighbours do not mind the noise levels remaining high till after midnight (not that they should, only 4houses on this long road). There will be cops and people patrolling the area outside for safety reasons.

yea i do think it should be themad like a getting drunk party an wilding out party but have a good time

A barbeque!

Everyone loves pigging out on hamburgers and hot dogs. You can have a few beers out, but then take them out after an hour. Don't tell anyone you're taking them out, though becuase otherwise they might get really drunk before you take them out.

Pirate and wench party, Superhero party, Costume party, hooker and pimp party (funny huh?), Spring fling party.

my mother plans birthday parties and weddings for a living and she had a few ideas and suggestions.
first, what would you love to do on a weekend? would you just love to go sit in the bar and have some drinks, shoot some pool and generally have a good time? Then do a bartending party, have everyone bring their favorite drink recipie or fav. beer and just go wild with weird alcoholic concoctions. Or do you like to go skiing? spring is still cool so you could go skiing for the weekend and have an icecream cake. My mother did this "white elephant" gift party for this family friend and i actually thought it was going to be SO stupid but it was really fun. Make a list of activities that the guests can do: we had the birthday girl hold a candle and the guests had squirt guns and had to try to shoot the candle out....ect. then people got carnival tickets and each had to bring a gift of something that they didn't want anymore and not tell anyone what it was (kinda like trash to treasure kinda thing) at the end of the afternoon the guests would bid on the wrapped mystery items with their carnival tickets and see what they got...some were pretty cool, and yes some were really dumb but most were cool...i think one girl got an old pearl necklace and another got a ship in a bottle.
anyway have fun whatever you do and happy birthday!

luau theme!

Since your birthday is in the spring, it is the perfect time for an outside party. Being 22 myself, I still find it fun to go to themed parties... As a child of the 80s, I love parties of that nature.. Everyone dresses up in 80s garb. Use really brightly colored decorations. You can play music from that time, which everyone will know and love. Plus, Its relatively easy and cheap to coordinate

Have an all "white party" which means that all guests will have to be dressed in all white only. Have it OUTSIDE with plenty of food; a d.j. and if you have a pool then the setting will be around the pool. If there is a pool then have some beach balls in the pool. Do some decorations and just have fun, just let it flow. Good luck.
