2 year old bday party?!

Question:

2 year old bday party?

my little girl turns 2 this 4th of july. any good party ideas?

Answers:
my mom's birthday is on July 4th. She will be turning 54 this year and I can tell you that while its cute....dont do a July 4th themed party! Let her go to the parade, do the fireworks thing, but let her have a Dora or Barbie party if she wants. My mom has had every kind of cake....flag, firecracker, red/white/blue flowers.....all she wanted growing up was a cake with pink flowers. So consider that please. Let her have her little girl birthday! (Even though she probably wont remember it)

How about a 4th of July party with fireworks and the whole 9 yards.

oh yeah!!! find out everthing and buy her stuff on that subject do this and she will be thanking you

There are plenty of good ideas, but some cute ones I think are
- a costume party with her friends
- having a few friends of hers over and celebrating by making crafts.
- Go for a swim, and have her friends come along! If you own a pool, or belong to one, throw a 4th of July themed party!
- Plan a movie night with her favorite movie and have her friends come too.

a Pinata for sure... that is a crowd pleaser and so much fun for everyone, maybe put up a small pool for the kids to play in and have a cook out for the adults...

Well you'll always have a theme, that's for sure. One thing to consider - many people leave town over the 4th of July holidays, you might want to have it the weekend after if you want to invite people other than immediate family. Getting friends to attend on that day might be hard if their families have other plans.

I also tend to go with the old rule that the number of child attendees be the same as the age of the child. Two friends with their parents and a simple get-together and summer barbeque and a cake and presents is more than enough for a two-year old.

a cute costume party might make her happy.... and the costume should be all with cute drawing/ painting... also put some dolls and toys around the party... i think your daughter might like it

aw! nice b-day. I would imagine that little girls like that would like to dress up in their favorite costume and watch the fireworks or parade. then when they get back they blow out their candles, make a wish, and hit the sack (bed) with a 4th of July story. and if it's not too much trouble have a birthday party a couple days later. princess theme or something. it would probably be too hard to have one on the 4th of July because a lot of families usually have something going on.

hope my suggestion helps!

Make some red, white and blue cupcakes.
Buy a box of white cake mix. Prepare batter as directed on box.
Divide the batter into 3 bowls, each bowl should have about 1 1/3 cups of batter.
Add blue food coloring to one bowl(about 1 tsp.) and red to another bowl. Leave the remaining batter white.
Line cupcake pan with papers, spray with cooking spray.
Pour 2 tablespoons of the red batter into each liner. Then white, then blue.
Bake according to package directions. When completely cooled, frost with vanilla frosting and use red, white, and/or blue sprinkles.
These cupcakes are so cute and fun!

I would suggest doing it at Jeepers or somwhere like that. July 4th is a time where a lot of people go away, it's generally pretty hot, and your daughter is very active. My daughter's birthday is on 7/15 and we did her 2nd birthday at Jeepers. She had so much fun, could ride all of the rides and it was cool inside. They have a pinata, they get to spin a wheel, etc. The kids had pizza, juice and cake - what all 2 year olds like and I didn't have to clean up. It was really nice to be able to take a ton of pictures without having to worry about supervising activities. They do it all!
