Question: What are fun things to do for an outdoor 50th birthday party!?
We don't want to do the Hawaiian Luau this time but wanted to know some other options!. The person of honor loves baseball, but didn't want it to turn out as a 12 year olds birthday party!. Any suggestions!? Any fun games that adults can all play at this party!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

How about a baseball party theme with real balls, bats, gloves as decoration, picnic style tables with white table cloths in a outdoor backyard barbecue food theme (including hot dogs, of course)!? Ask all the guests to wear a baseball cap, t-shirts etc supporting their favorite teams!. You could have a contest to see who can slam a whiffle ball out of the yard and give prize to the best in age category (i'm assuming you will have family of all ages present)!. As far as the prize, make it something baseball themed (tickets to a game, team t-shirt, team ball cap)!. I think as long as you don't resort to store bought baseball theme items your party will look less like that of a 12 year old!.!.!. with something for all ages to enjoy!. I think once you get going with ideas !.!.!. more and more will come to you and you'll see a baseball theme party for a 50 year old can be done with taste and not turn out too kiddish!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Have an adult type carnival using baseball as the theme!. Have carnival type games where you could win tickets; throwing a baseball into some sort of holder, answering baseball trivias, etc!.
