Need help planning my daughter's birthday party!!!!1?!

Question: Need help planning my daughter's birthday party!!!!1!?
Ok so my daughter is going to be 3 on June 27, we are going to have a party for her on the 28th at my aunt's house!. My daughter is very girly and foo foo!. lol!. I really haven't thought of a theme yet, but am open to a lot of different things!. However, I do not like the Disney themes (princess, dora, pooh, barbie, etc)!. For her first birthday we had a "daisy" theme and decorated everything with daisy's and I even went as far as making a daisy shaped cake, basically it was just pastel colors, It was very cute!. I am very contemporary, and would rather go for colors, than a single them, but I am up for anything!. I love Pottery Barn and Target and colors that they have for little girls!. also My budget is about $200-$300!. I need all the ideas I can get from food to games to a theme!. Thanks!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

ok, my "baby girl" is almost 26, but she was also a girly girl!. So this might be dated!. We had a store near us - The Party Store!.

We bought a "crown" for my birthday girl and a Gold foil bag, you know the kind you use to wrap presents in instead of a box!.
Ours was an outside party (Thank God) we had "fairy dust" in the bag!. left over silver and gold christmas paper that I had run through the shredder at my office (remember this was over 20 years ago)!. The birthday girl had magic shoes (the little plastic high heels and I hot glued big colored "gems" to them) My Bday girl had a magic wand and when someone won a game she tossed fairy dust on them (she had to stand at least 2 feet away and throw it from the side or the back, never at their front (eyes ---- I worked in insurance!.!.!. lol) and they got to close their eyes and pick out something from the princess's bag!. I had gone to K-Mart and spent about $10 on costume jewelry!.!.!.!.!. bracelets, and pins!. And everyone got party necklaces when they got to the house (they are mardi gras beads now!. If you need help with games!.!.!.!. go to amazingmoms!.com

One of the best games we did was balloon run!. We had a balloon for each one that we had blown up ahead of time (my 8 year old son was a huge help) we had stars and moon stickers on all the balloons!. we took a marker and put each girls name on theirs, and they had to carry it down the yard go around the big star (my son paper mached the garbage can LOL !.!.!.!. ) and bring it back!. We have the video tape of 5 little 3 year old girls all standing and looking at the big star and not moving at all!. They were hysterical!. We had twinkle lights in the trees and bushes and we had the party in the late afternoon (after the last nap, so they would be there when they could see the lights!. The only reason we had it outside was because of the confetti and shag carpet!. Again, over 20 years ago!. I think Reagan was in office!.!.!. LOL You're probably too young to know about him!.!.!.!.!. lol!.!.

Good Luck and have a great time!. She will if you will!. If you're a nervous wreck, she will pick up on it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

http://www!.target!.com/gp/search/601-4089!.!.!.

!. For the invitations you can use or make a 4X6 card that has tea cups and saucers all around the border!. The card can say "Tea for two, Two for tea, come celebrate my birthday with me!." you can find tea cups with saucers that are child size and have butterflies all over them!. The party can be in the backyard under a white canopy tent which you can decorate with white lights and pink tule!. you can buy white fabric for a tablecloth!. and pink flowers as a centerpiece!. and clear bowls filled with water, and in them floating butterfly candles!.a child size sterling silver tea set which includes the tea pot, creamer and sugar boat with the tray!. and teal cloth napkins folded fancy with silverware tucked inside!.!. The menu can be: butterfly shaped peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, chocolate covered strawberries, butterfly shaped strawberry jello, pigs in a blanket, butterfly shaped crackers with cheese, mini marshmellow skewers, and of course non-sweetened pink lemonade!. have them make candy necklaces, and have butterfly tattoos!. play pass the present to "I'm a little tea-pot" and musical chairs!. Each girl can get a gift bag with a butterfly necklace, magnetic earrings, bubbles shaped as butterfly necklace, sidewalk chalk, and of course a tea cup!!! (if you want) just an idea!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
