Answers:
if it will be raining by you have a board game day/night have everyone bring a game they like and have lots of easy food.. potato salad, pasta salad, ribs are a good idea, corn on the cob, dips, chips a veggie tray.. enjoy the day Have fun! hope i helped!

throw some ribs in the oven or in your crockpot. you can do that. all you do is pour your favorite bbq sauce in there with the meat/chicken and let it simmer in the crockpot all day. if you bake them in the oven, you just brush the sauce on after baking the meat. bake some potatoes, or make potato salad, and boil a few ears of corn and make some baked beans. don't let the rain ruin your day.

Idea for a cake. You need a white cake, whip cream, strawberries, and blueberries. Put whip cream on the cake and decorate with the fruit.

Here are a couple favorite recipes....

Pig Out Cake
1 box of yellow cake mix
1 small can (11oz) of mandarin oranges, undrained
1/2 c. oil
4- eggs
Icing:
12-16 oz Cool whip (I use 16 oz)
1 lg. can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 sm. pkg. instant vanilla pudding
Combine cake ingredients and mix well. Bake in rectangle pan at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes or until inserted tooth pick comes out clean.
Combine icing ingredients and spread on cooled cake.
Cake does need to be refrigerated until ready to serve.
* I sometimes add flaked coconut to the icing mixture.
