Hi my family will have been living in Aus for 1 year in 2 months and want to have some sort of party to celebrate - any ideas?

Why not invite all your new friends and let them sample food from back home...wherever that may be.
Also have ones native to Australia so that it's like a joining of the two.
If you are originally from the Uk then don't forget the hose to create the rain atmosphere!
Have a good old Texan B-B-Q, no shimps on the barbie plz.
Do some poor feeding for the children of poor nations.
Can also donate to UNESCO Child Welfare Fund.
