Theme for candle party?!

Question:

Theme for candle party?

Grown ups are having a candle selling party.. I want to invite lots of old friends and neighbors and make it a THEME party. My best idea so far is a cheese & wine tasting party.

Some other ideas given were: a daquiri party.. great idea, but how do I handle people driving home? And a banana split party where everyone brings a topping.

Answers:
the theme is 'themeless party' ....enjoy

How about a "coffee shop" theme. Have people bring thier favorite creamer, blend of coffee and pastries. Could be fun to sample different flavors...

listen to come on baby light my fire~the doors, then think really hard on wondering why candle selling parties have to have themes

How about "Keeper's Of The Flame?"

well maybe:
Under the Sea
Beach Candle
Casino

Make it a loveboat party and light candles~(it'll remind them why they're there and also display). but make sure there isnt too much to drink.

the banana split sounds good!
how about fondue theme?from different cheeses,to meat with different sauces to chocolate fondue dipped in fruits, cookies, sponge cake!
or a baguette theme! cold cuts, cheeses, vegies, exotic mustards, flavored mayos......
have fun

I am sure you are doing this but... at a minimum make sure there are no lights on. This alone sets the mood and make sit very interesting. I do like the coffee idea you could also do tea, there are so many different varieties and then serve cookies or some delectable dessert, good luck!
