I would get a recipe for chocolate chip cookies. Follow the directions but don't cook the cookies. There's your raw chocolate chip cookie dough! It is edible but you shouldn't eat large quantities of raw cookie dough. Most dough contains raw eggs which can give you saminella.

Everything in cookie dough is fine except for the eggs. Just leave them out and put a little extra fat in your recipe. You don't have to worry about what the egg does if you aren't going to bake the cookies.

the only danger in eating cookie dough is the raw eggs....simply use egg substitute such as "egg beaters" brand eggs. they have been pasteurised and do not have the risk of salmonella that raw eggs have but they still work like whole eggs would. hope this helps.
