Cocktail waitresses where are you?!

Question:

Cocktail waitresses where are you?

I want to become a successful cocktail waitress. I know that it's a daily hustle. Does anyone have any tips how to make as much money as possible. Thanks a bundle

Answers:
I aint no cocktail waitress, but im in the industry.
Remembering faces is always a good thing. You have to remember ur regulars and big tippers. Dont be afraid to buy a first round of drinks for ur return customers or heavy tippers. This always keeps them coming back, and they will reward u by a good tip normally.
Flirt and joke. Having a good personality and being friendly always helps. Dont ever walk around like u hate ur job or u are pissed at the world. If u generate a positive energy toward ur customers, they will be happy. Always look confident. The customer is putting there trust in u as their server. Nobody wants a server who looks like they got no idea what they are doing.
Also dressing sexy always works. Unfortunately in this industry, sex sells. So ya gotta be prepared to show a lil skin but not too much. You dont want the kinda customers that are only there to stare at you the whole time you are working and taking up ur space and not ordering anything.
Be friendly, but not too friendly, if you are comfortable with someone, its ok to touch them. Not like that!! But lean on them, rest your arm on their shoulder. Contact is always good. When u have free time go by and talk with them, dont just stand around by the bar or in the bank. Ya gotta market urself. Do ur own PR. It shows your regular customers that you trust them. This also works good for better tips.
And probably the biggest thing, is to remember ur orders. Nobody likes a screw up. If u cant remember, dont be afraid to write it down. Just dont forget or bring the wrong thing. This is a sure way to have ur tips drop and people not want to order from you again.

dress sexy and flirt with the dudes

Make sure you can handle getting "handled" and make sure you bring your sense of humor with you as well. I've found that if you carry your own change it makes transactions alot smoother then having to wait for the slow bartenders to make change for you. Start to remember what people drink and their faces and you'll make a bundle. People like to be remembered. I like to make up names for my customers that helps me remember who they are. Try it sometime, it works.

I used to waitress in a lounge where the clientele didn't tip. I, however, got tips. Introduce yourself, and try to get their names. Remembering what your customer drinks, keep an eye on them as to not be a pest, pay attention to how they are drinking, fast. slow, not paying attention. Remember, you don't want them to walk out drunk. Then, REMEMBER THEM!!
