Well, once I hosted birthday party for my son and I provided a pasta bar. I had multiple choices of different pastas like; penne, bowtie, regular, and angel hair. Then, I had some bowls of sauce like; cheese, alfredo, and marinara. Then, I had some toppings in bowls for them like; meatballs, cheese, veggies, chicken, etc. etc. So basically they went in a buffet kinda fashion and picked what kinda pasta they wanted. It was pretty fun for them because they were having fun making own food. WHat kid doesn`t love pasta? Then, we also served some garlic bread and drinks like punch, milk and water. If this matters, the desert was an icecream bar. We had three different icecreams; vanilla, chocolate, and raspberry sorbet. They had toppings like fruits, nuts, whip cream, chocolates, marshmellows, and of course the cherry on top :]
I`d have to say, they had a great time and watched a movie and played games and swam in our pool (they were 8 years old). I recommend you have your son`s party guests watch CARS the movie :]

Hope I helped!

**I went to this really great party where we got to make are own mini pizzas (You buy premade dough, cheese, and tomato sauce, maybe pepperoni) and it was really fun because i got to pick and choose what was on there and it was almost like a game=)

**snacks could include fruit and stuff its really healthy and keeps blood sugar up^^

**you could also have a sort of cookout thats always fun

Well, I think that pizza will be all right.

hot dogs, pizza, and hamburgers have been great for my little sisters birthday parties

I had mac and cheese with hot dogs for my daughter's bday. It's her favorite meal. I say pick what your child's absolute favorite meal is and have that. It makes it more special for them to know that they get presents and that they'll eat their fav food too!

Along with the mac and cheese, I had veggies, dips, fruit. The adults will eat the mac and cheese too! It's a pastime fav!

Maybe you could serve hot dogs...If you use toothpicks to add olives as wheels, that could be kinda fun.

Alternately, you could use frozen cheese pizza, and add decorations to make it look like a steering wheel...This could be done with ketchup (ick, but kids might like it!), sliced vegetables (they'll pick them off anyway), or even pepperoni.

Mini pizzas, mini grilled cheese sandwiches, mini hotdogs... food that is finger food sized for three year olds.

Chicken nuggets, pigs in a blanket, fries, and any other finger food for small children. If you have older ones attending. Then make hot dogs, nachos, dip& chips, fruit slices, cheese on pretzel sticks....

A few times we've done make your own pizzas. You can use english muffins, a can or two of pizza sauce, some shredded cheese and whatever toppings you think they'll like. Set out some bowls and spoons, a cookie sheet and let them go.

If you want a healthy idea, we use the clear plastic party cups and spoon a couple T. of vanilla yogurt, then a spoon of frozen berries then topped with another spoon of yogurt. I line these on a cookie sheet and keep them in the fridge, and pull them out for the meal, very easy and kids LOVE them!

Bagel bites pizzas, chicken nuggets, cheese sticks, all these kind of finger foods are good because kids are picky. My six year old just had a cars birthday and these are what we did. Give lots of sauces to choose from and kool aid made with artificial sweetner. It's fast easy and everybody will enjoy

Pizza rolls, hot dogs/pigs in a blanket, cheese ravioli, macarooni and cheese, baked ziti.
I hope this helps! Hope the party goes well.
