2 tbsp corn starch = 1 egg
2 tbsp arrowroot flour = 1 egg
2 tbsp potato starch = 1 egg
1 heaping tbsp soy powder + 2 tbsp water = 1 egg
1 tbsp soy milk powder + 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water = 1 egg.
1 banana = 1 egg in cakes.

actually you are not only limited to the liquid kind. you can get powdered egg substitute in a box. i used to use it when i baked for my vegan friends. i forgot the brand, but i got it at the local co-op. also you can do this in a pinch (as stated above; reference link below):

2 tbsp corn starch = 1 egg
2 tbsp arrowroot flour = 1 egg
2 tbsp potato starch = 1 egg
1 heaping tbsp soy powder + 2 tbsp water = 1 egg
1 tbsp soy milk powder + 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water = 1 egg.
1 banana = 1 egg in cakes

Flax seed can be used as a substitute for eggs. 1/2 a cup of flax seeds, 1/4 cup of water and cook on the stove, it will form a really gummy concoction and 2 tbsp. = 1 egg.

i substitute it with milk or yogurt
