Would you or do you know people who whould pay an online party planner?
I currently plan parties locally for people that I know. Generally I don't charge anything, but am more often than not tipped pretty generously.
Would you be willing to pay for a planner that is out of the area who would coordinate all the details of your party for you. For example.
1. Take your party ideas and bring them to the next level.
2. After discussion
a. Provide you with a list of venues in your area
b. Provide you with with a list of sties where you could
purchase the appropriate decorations, music, etc. on
a reasonable budget or I order them and have them
shipped to you with instructions on how to decorate and
display.
c. Either negotiate with local caterers for you or provide you
with recipes that are budget friendly and easy to make
d. Manage the invitations and guest list
If so, would you consider paying 15% of the your total cost for this to the planner?

I am a party planner and I think this is a great service and can be done via phone/email. In fact after meeting my clients all of the work is pretty much done via phone/email. I am curious to know how this goes for you since you are remote and your fee is not very competitive to local planners. Its a grea idea ad most of the time people just need help with the legwork.
For the busy person, this is a great idea. I think that it would certainly be a worthwhile service although liasing with local businesses would be a little bit tricky if you were not in the area.
