If it was 43 of me!!!! That's easy 50 case's of Beer just to be on the safe side. Happy grilling, Or about 4 kegs.

BYOB
bring your own beer

am i invited? if not i'm not telling you. :P

depends on how much they drink normaly.... then you can split it up. do they drink alot normaly?? or not so much??

instead of you paying thousands of dollars from you back pocket, have your guest bring thier own, and if they wish, make it a community drink thing

ehm.... I am going to say.... 6 cases of beer, 4 bottles of champagne and two bottles each of gin, vodka and whiskey.

I like sparkling white wine , that's if I can come. Haven't been to a barbie in ages. Thanks.

just get a couple of cases of beer they got specials on at da moment in supermarkets im havin 1 on da weekend and all but apparentl the weathers gonna be bad hope not im really lookin forward to it anyway enjoy urself and teall most people 2 bring their own u dnt wana go buying and left out of pocket

There are a few ways to do this.
You can have people bring there own. Or if someone asks if they can bring something, tell them to bring a few cases.
But the amount to buy all depends on how heavy drinkers the people are. But it is a holiday, so i would buy about 100 cans, i think the easer way for you would be to get a keg.

it all depends on how hammered you want people to be and how long you are planning for this thing to last. I would stick to beer and spirits, leave out the wine and chamagne. Jack Daniels is a must when doing BBQ, other than that- have fun but don't drive!

If your supplying all the food i would just say to family and friends all bring a bottle with you . Depends on how much they all drink . I would personally just buy a couple of bottles of most popular spirits and many many cases of lagers and beers .Wine that's what I would ask friends to bring .

Also don't forget about all those who don't drink . Provide plenty of soft drinks .

Failing to supply all that make sure you know a good off licence within walking distance so you know you can top up if needed .

People will bring their own beverage in addition to what you provide, so you should factor that in. Age is also a big factor here.

3 drinks per man and 2 drinks per woman would be a safe bet. As I said, may people will bring a 'special' beer or drink.

Sorry Dick, I can't make it. I'm going to Blackpool for a total drunken wipe-out. But have a good time mate.

I would say get 4 X 24 crates of beer, that way every man their will get at least 4 beers, (some will drink more, some wont drink etc). The i would reccomend you buy 2 X 12 cases of white wine(Pinot grigio, Sauvignon Blance or a good Chardonnay maybe a mix) Hmm Champagne you get 3 large 250mil glasses to a bottle, if you want everyone to have a glass 15 bottles should suffice. Spirits are always hard to choose, it heavily depends on how classy/picky your gests are, without having met a hand full of them I wont estimate your spirit consumption.

I would suggest that you have people BYOB, you might have a couple bottles of wine/champagne and maybe 2 20 packs of beer but I would definitely have people bring their own to cut expenses. Have fun!

43 people. It all depends on what they drink. Most people will bring something they like. Like a favorite bottle of wine. If you are not sure, then play it safe. Case of red and white wine. 2 cases of light beer, 2 cases of reg. beer. I would even have a small bar with a blender for mixed drinks.(margheritas,daquires,c... etc...). 1 case of mixed liquor. 1 bottle of tequila, 1 rum, 1 vodka, 1 jack, some schnapps for extra flavor in the frozen drinks, and so on. whatever u think they like. U might not need a whole case, but i am just playing it safe. Don't forget the ICE!!!!!!!!! Hope this helps!

Bartender

1 bottle of wine for every 5 men, and 1 bottle for every 3 women (11-12 bottles total)

6 bottles of champagne if everyone (except DD's - 20% of guests) are having a glass.

4 beers for every man, 2 beers for every woman (132 beers)- a little over 5 twenty-four bottle cases

2 coolers for every woman - 42 coolers

4 - 26 ounce liquors - rum, vodka, whiskey, tequila, gin..whatever

** of course these numbers ensure variety and availability for all guests..if budget is a concern you can fudge the numbers a bit..but start with these as a "everyone is covered" guide***

Not next door to my place I hope. I hate the smell of neighbours barbies as the stench permeates everything.Clouds of foul smoke coming over the boundary fence with assorted flavours. Honestly some of the smells would put you right off the food. For your barbie you need enough for everybody to get nicely pissed.Suggest 20 bottles champers,4 whisky,8 white wine,86 cans of beer and 6 bottles of cider.Plus arrange for the local taxi firm to take them all home.

Why are you having champagne? Mimosas?
Limiting the liquids to beer, wine, and some sodas would be a suggestion I would make. You don't want your guests to leave drunk, and I am assuming your bbq party will be 5 hours long. I would sort this into 10% sodas, 70% beer and 20% wine consumed, but for contingency I would add some more beer and wine. At a bbq, assume 80% will drink beer, 30% wine.
5 beers per person * 80% * 43 = 172 beers ...round to 8 cases
4 glasses wine per person * 30% * 43 = 52 glasses wine (number of bottles depends on size of bottles--assume 6 oz serving) Buy two extra bottles as contingency.
Sodas are 2 liters in a choice of diet and regular, and were not included because the expense is much less.

If you're looking to narrow it down select one or two options of each ie 2 types of beer, a red & white wine (If your going to do chamagne as well then select one you can also mix for a cocktail. Then of course 1 or 2 cocktails that go with your theme. If your group is mixed in ages and drink preference plan on approx 2 beverages per person per hour. Then divide up the number of drinks between your three options. If you know in advance that most of the men prefer beer or a particular spirit then cheat that number by 10-20%. You will end up with some leftovers, for your next party...but you won't run out.

i say 123

Champagne -1 glass per person 6 glasses in a 750ml bottle.
If everyone is staying over (not driving) I would count on buying all your bar backs. (Vodka, Rye, Scotch, Rum) One bottle of each. Beer should bee three to four per man and wine should be one 750 ml bottle to every two women.

Now if everyone is not staying over. Lessen it to two of the bar backs one clear one stained, 1 beer per man and 1 750 bottle of wine per 4 women. Champagne stays the same.

I would suggest buying 1 case of imported beer (generally Heinekin or Corona will do this), 1 case of domestic beer, 1 magnum of red wine, 1 magnum or white wine, 1 litre bottle of vodka, and 1 litre bottle of rum. Of course with mixers. If you need more than this you should start an AA meeting at your party : )

get a keg.. wine, chamagne I'd buy 5 bottle of each

just where the fcuk is mine and wagons invite
anyway just add three bottles of jack for me
and 6 bottles of nobleman fortified wine for wagon £2 19 in aldi

best to cancel it dick
