Invitation for Miss America Party?!
My friend is having an Miss America party and I'm in charge of planning it!. I am having a lot of trouble coming up with a good invitation idea for the party though!. Any ideas!? It has to go with the theme!. For example, I was having a "Sweets and treats" party and the invitaition was a small peice of paper with the info written on it wrapped around a lollipop!. So what's an idea for this!?!?!? HELP!! EZ 10 POINTS!!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

make the invitation look like the miss america results envelope!. you could even include a plastic tiara and a sash with the invite instead of giving things at the party!. I might even try to find a pinata in the shape of a lipstick tube or something, just because that is the one thing that anyone whos having a birthday party can appreciate :DWww@FoodAQ@Com
I'm going to add to the previous suggestion and say for the invites, this is if there are only a few invited, make individual sashes (maybe with an iron on name if you're feeling ambitious - I'm sure you can find premade sashes)!. Fold those into squares or rectangles and place them in a clear, cellophane envelope (like these: http://www!.clearenvelopes!.com/)!. Slip a card in to address them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I would also say sashes with each girl's name andthe time!. You could be like come be crowned at _____'s Miss America party!. You could even give them each a title like Most Talkative, Most friendly, Most talented, Most Intelligent!.

For invitations you could make a 'sash' either out of tagboard or even some inexpensive really wide ribbon!. you could write in glitter or a solid color and decorate with rhinestones, etc!.
