Mini Chocolate Fountains?
I am planning my wedding for next summer, and we want to use mini chocolate fountains and fruit as center pieces at the reception. Does any one know were to find about 30 of them for around $20-30 bucks each. Or even a place that rents miniature ones.

I can vision your dream. You have to understand it can only be a dream. These fountains run by electricty and they will need outlets, I don't know of any hall that has an outlet on every table. The fountains must be montiored to make sure they don't get cllogged or run out of chocolate. Every table must have an assortment of dips which will take up quite alot of table space.Once the novelty of them rubs off, they become the elephant on the table{chocolate on the womens bags,no place to put pieces of left over food etc.) After the wedding, what are you going to do with 30 fountains? the best thing yo do is rent one large one,let the caterer take care of it and you spend your money on a memorable centerpice.

Most local convenience stores (like CVS or Rite Aid) carry them now and they're about $30. I've never seen more then a few on the shelves though - you might have to see if you can order them.
wal-mart has them but i wouldn't recommend them for center pieces just set up a desert table on the side and have three fountains 1 dark choc.1milk & 1 white
I've seen them at mervyns. Sometimes you can get a really good deal after thanksgiving.
I have seen them in stores (like Bed,Bath& beyond)
You will find larger ones at stores that rent Party/catering supplies
Okay... not to scare you but... My friend had a shower and bought one of the mini one's for people to use... Now I don't know if it was a dud or what. but all the chocolate started to explode in the kitchen and went all over the wall's... and all over people in the line of fire...
Collectionsetc.com has all kinds of stuff cheap ,most for 14.00 and under.
