What goes best with baked Mac and Cheese?!


Question: What goes best with baked Mac and Cheese!?
I'm having a dinner party on Memorial day!.!.(My birthday is on that day too) and I need to know what food goes well with baked Mac and Cheese! I'm from the south/west!.!.!.so ya give me something I'm familiar with LOL!. Notherns can write some ideas that are different too!

LOL!!! The first thing I would say would be Fried Chicken! That goes best with baked mac & cheese but also spiral ham goes well or BBQ chicken! Chicken and mac & cheese belong together! LOL!

Since it's also Memorial Day, picnics are common!. Instead of the mac & cheese being the main entree, you could have it be a side dish with hot dogs, hamburgers, etc!. Or grill up some bratwurst or kielbasa!. Often times, I serve kielbasa without a bun when I make mac & cheese!.

In Texas, it would be BBQ (ribs, or pulled pork/beef sandwiches) !.!.!.!.!. coleslaw (extra vinegar, to cut the cheese heaviness) !.!.!. a fruit salad (hollow out 1/2 watermelon, and refill with the cubed melon, berries & pineapple) !.!.!. a green salad !.!.!. veggie/dip platter !.!.!.!.Do-It-Yourself SundaesWww@FoodAQ@Com

I like baked beans with mac and cheese!. Especially if you make them with brown sugar and butter!. The sweet goes well with the cheese for some reason!. As far as meat, Steak or Swedish Meatballs work well and so do Ribs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
