So Im turning 14 in july and i want to do like a swim party type thing im trying to think of a good idea?!
I would like it just to be all girls and for everything to go smoothly!. I was thinking like a beach theme but thats like soooooo way too young so hoping for your ideas

I would stick with the pool party and then you can put some waterproof pillows around the pool area for friends to lounge on, along with some inexpensive string laterns, you can get them just about anywhere now, Pier1 has them, Linens and Things, etc, and set some up by the pool, it would look really nice, even if you don't have them lit, having the laterns by the pool would look nice!. Have some lounge chairs or the lounge pillows just make sure they are waterproof and made for poolside by the pool!.
Then get an inflatable boat and fill it with ice and put the drinks in there, your sodas, water, etc!. You can have pitchers of lemonade and iced tea off on the patio or wherever on the poolside!.
You can do a bbq for food which I'm sure your friends would enjoy, everyone enjoys bbq, just make sure if there is someone that doesn't eat meat out of your friends that you accomodate them and have something for them to eat too!.
You can set up an ice cream bar, get some chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream, and whatever else are your favorites!. Get some toppings, sprinkles, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, cherries, etc, and go to the dollar store and get those tall plastic sundae glasses and have everyone make their own sundaes!.
You can also get some inflatable beach balls for the pool and even do the invites on them, if you're handing the invites out in person, write the invite out on the ball, and your friends have to blow up the beach ball to read the invite!. Then they can bring their beach balls to the party and fill the pool with them! You can even go to the dollar store and get some rubber ducks and put them in the pool!.
You can also go to Toys R' Us and get some pool games, like nets for pool badmitten and volleyball, etc!.
It can just be the theme of a poolside/pool party, it doesn't have to be beach, you're going to have everyone there to swim, go with it and have fun with it! You can set some balloons around the pool, you can also go and see what kind of inflatable pool toys you can find and decorate the area with them, your friends will end up having fun with them too!

you could have a dance/pool party!. u could have it at a local hotel!. u could have a sleepover in a hotel room!. use the wedding reception area for a dance!. use the pool for swimming!. have pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, pop, and water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
How about an Hawaii theme!? Lays,coconut cups and all that!. Some stuff you can even find at the dollar tree for a great price!. My daughters friend had one at her pool party and shes 17 years old!. Hope that helps alittle!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com
