Adult sleepover party ideas?
Im planning a birthday party for my 34th bday, and wanted to have a sorta go back to when you were 10 years old theme. Going to have a sleepover, raw cookie dough kind of night, watch old movies that kind of stuff but does anyone have any more ideas on what to do with a bunch of old folks to make them feel young again?? Thanks any answers will be appericated.

Well, I really like MW and Ladeeda's answers a lot but if you're really wanting to turn back the hands of time to feel young again (which BTW I take great offense to as I am 33 and do NOT think I am old...LOL):
Rent some movies from "your" era, Brat Pack films would be great! (1st person to ask who they are gets wedgied)
Pop in a couple of 80's hits cd's and dance like you were 13 again.
Make food like nachos and popcorn, maybe order some pizzas and do a sundae bar with various toppings.
Play Trivial Pursuit 80's edition.
Play charades with 80's themed stuff, i.e. mvoies, songs, bands, t.v. shows from that era.
Do the old "first one that falls asleep gets their bra frozen" thing.
Mostly, have fun and celebrate life.....You're not old!
some beer, cocktails, snack trays, shrimp, kabobs, etc grown up stuff you know...

that sounds cool! hmm..as for a girly theme-makeovers would work, maybe get out a couple old boardgames, get out the music you used to listen to back in the day, that kinda thing. have loads of fuN!
Karoke is fun, get some cd's of the music you listened to back then and dress up like the pop stars of that time.
Do a search of all the weird sayings you and your friends used to say like That's far out! Totally Rad, etc.
Rent videos of sitcoms that you liked back then and watch them too.
Assemble photos of you and your friends from back then.
Have a trivia contest to name tv and movie actors from back then and musicians and popular songs.
Is this a mixed group or ladies only? If mixed,then play Spin the Bottle or Strip Poker.Don't worry about the next morning,it'll be fun at the time.If it's just the girls,hire a dancer and that will last the night,I've seen you girls when there's a hot bod around.
Booz. If your opposed to hard alcohol make it champagne or wine spritzers. Go skinny dipping. Play Spin the Bottle and Truth or Dare. You have to continue to talk and giggle after the lights go out. And don't forget to invite your mom. You need someone to yell, "Alright, It's time to go to sleep now".
Don't try to go back to the times you once had, it will never be the same.
Instead, make your own new memories, we are all young until the day we die.
Have a TOGA party, whoever is coming can only have a bedsheet,and two pins to cover there body.Then play some crazy stuff ,like everyone writes down something to do, for example, when I had a TOGA PARTY I picked a paper ,that said ,I had to drink a dozen raw eggs in a big glass of beer.

Feel young? You are young! I hope you will all get dressed up, go have dinner with the gals and go dancing! Have your sleepover at a swanky hotel paint your toenails and gossip about the 'boys' you met that night. , order room service - champagne and strawberries,toast to a wonderful birthday!
SPA NIGHT!! Everyone bring a nail polish and flip-flops, a terrycloth headband or a turban, and a tank top. You provide disposable emery boards and orangewood sticks and everyone gives each other pedicures. Also, whip up a mixture of strawberries, oatmeal, honey and papaya in a blender until it's thick but spreadable without being drippy. Have everyone wash their faces with a good cleanser, then everyone gets to apply this fabulous facial masque on each other.
As for food, NO good-for-you foods ALLOWED!! Raw cookie dough, cake frosting straight out of the tub or tube, cans of whipped cream, hot dogs with spray cheese, and everyone gets their own pint of icecream to eat straight outta the carton! If you plan to serve liquor, have the theme be "drinks you always wanted to try when you were a kid". My mother loved an occasional Harvey Wallbanger when I was younger, but you never see anyone drinking them now, right? None of this Red Bull or Jagermeister-Bomb stuff!
Everyone has to bring a CD of the songs they loved when they were junior high. I'm 34, too, so that'd be the top hits of around 83 to 86. The rule is that if you know the song, you MUST sing along! Everybody has to get out their notebooks and list who their celebrity crushes were, what women they wanted to BE (Molly Ringwald!), what they were really like way-back-when, what they thought their lives would be like now, etc. Movie suggestions would be Sixteen Candles, Peggy Sue Got Married, Valley Girl, Flashdance, or Top Gun. Invite ur friends a little early in the evening and ask them 2 dress up like u used to then and then put on the music u used to listen then and dance!

Play the game "Girl Talk"
Make prank phone calls (just be sure to block your number)
Karoke - or a singing/dancing contest
PLAY without losing your sanity like having Makeovers. Play with your hair (in fact u might discover new hairdo that would look good on you), put make-up on (like young girls try to do and learn), mix and match your wardrobe.
On top of that...have some finger food and cocktail on the side.
Upbeat music that u can sing along with can be optional.

Do nails, "beauty treatments". Make s'mores, popcorn. Tell a ghost story then scream. Prank call some "boys". Take pictures and make a scrapbook for everyone. Play games like "truth or dare", "blind date", "Scruples", etc.
You have to break something, and someone has to get mad and/or cry -- That happened at every slumber party I ever went to. Oh yeah - and someone's parents have to yell down to tell everyone to be quiet and go to sleep. LOL!
