1st Birthday Food?!

Question: 1st Birthday Food!?
My daughters first birthday BBQ is in June and will be held at a large kiddie playground (so we dont have to provided entertainment)!. About 20+ friends and relatives are coming but I can't think of what to make!. I know all the traditional stuff, but to feed my hungry friends and family takes alot more than a simple BBQ!. Any ideas on what to make, in big portions, that everyone will like!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

We do a big cookout every July for my daughter's birthday!. The best thing we ever had to eat was a smoked turkey!. My brother has a smoker and brought it early that morning so that it would be done on time!. Everyone said it was the best meat they had ever eaten!. Another option is buy a party pack of chicken from Wal-mart or somewhere like that!. It's not very expensive and everyone likes fried chicken!. We always serve potato salad, macaroni salad, or coleslaw, several options of chips, and stuff to make sandwiches with for those who are picky!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Something that fills people up and is pretty affordable is lasagna and salad and bread!. You could make some meat some veggie!. You could do Caesar salad because that only requires one dressing and french bread/butter!.

For my daughters 1st bday last year in August we bbq'd Hamburgers/hotdogs, then had baked beans, salad, veggie tray, potato salad, pasta salad, spinach dip/bread bowl, chips/dip, deviled eggs, and then cake and cookies!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Potluck food!. Just tell everyone to bring something!. These are always big hits too:
? Salad
? Chicken kabobs (don't know if that's spell right)
?Sushi
? Anything that involves dipping souse
? Brownies or some kind of squareWww@FoodAQ@Com
