The best ice cream flavor is whatever looks good. Sometimes, if you're annoyed, Mint Chocolate Chip is the way to go. If you're feeling in love, it's chocolate. If you feel simple or in need of something, its vanilla.

Depends on how you are going to use it. French Vanilla in a glass, fill the glass with Pepsi, and it makes a great soda. Chocolate fudge ice cream any time of day or night. Same with coffee ice cream.

A few years ago...I ate some "Rocky Mountain Wild Blackberry" ice cream...oooohhhhhhh, it was so delicious. You could taste the Blackberry flavor in it, and it was worth dieing for.
You need to do an ice cream store run to discover your own personal favorite. Nationally vanilla is always #1, but too bland for me.
