Childs birthday?!

Question: Childs birthday!?
I'm having my daugher's birthday at a craft store!. We have the room for 2 hours!. The kids will be doing a craft, and of course we will be opening presents and having cake!. My question is, do you think there will be enough time for 'real' food!? also, the party is from 3-5!. Should I plan on getting pizza for the kiddies or is that an odd time to have a meal!? If i do not have pizza, should i have some kind of snack!? I'm not sure what the proper thing is!. Are the other parents expecting them to get fed!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I wouldn't serve any "real food" at that time esp if you will be having cake!.

I would bring along some snacks, altho be sure to check w/ craft store, if you haven't already, that food is even allowed or that they don't provide snacks already with the room!.!.!.

I would designate a table away from the craft area & place:
chex mix/trail mix style snacks in foil cupcake holders
fruit chunks in foil cupcake holders (keep wipes on hand for sticky hands/faces)
juice boxes & mini water bottlesWww@FoodAQ@Com

yes they do expect u 2 provide them food!.!.!.!.don't worry !.!.!.!.
keep some light meal 4 them that compensates 4 their snack time!.!.!.!.no there won't b enough time 4 'real' food!.!.!.!.yes u can get pizzas n the like for the tiny tots!.!.!.!.U CAN HAVE A FEW 4RM THE FOLLOWING 4 SANCKS---------

Tey had a lot of fun!! So you can get pizza but I wouldnt becuas eif you just have a lot of like finger foood as in chip fruit and stuff they should be fine!. Hope this hepsWww@FoodAQ@Com

Does the craft store run the party!? If so, call them and ask!. If not, then I think you should give them a snack!. Probably not a meal like pizza since it's after lunch and before dinner, but you could make something simple to take along like fairy bread, cupcakes or lollies or something!. Or you could just make a small lolly bag to give to each child before they leave!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I agree with the other posters!.!.Please make sure via the craft store that they ALLOW food!. There may be sanctions about it re: peanut allergies etc!. Call the store first to double check!. I would think that kids may get glue on their hands and then be eating food!. Not that great of a combo!.!.just see what the store says!. If it is a go I would just get some combos, nacho chips like doritos and some other stuff like that which isn't really messy!. I do like the idea of pizza though or even pizza rolls!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well I would say from 3-5 I would just have some snacks, they are gonna be busy with crafts and not wanting to sit and eat when they could be doing fun activities! Cake sounds good enough but if you feel like snacks are needed then go for it!

Good luck at the party and have a blast!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hmm, ask the crafts store if they cater!?(spelling!?)
As a teen, I know that children get hungry/thirsty while doing things, so MAYBE get some thing like Fresh Fries, Sausage Rolls, Finger Food, and maybe some O!.J and Sprite!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
