Wouldn't it be up to the 11 year old boy? What is he into? Geez, is he your kid? My boys are now older but I never, ever would have had to ask strangers what theme I should have for their party!

depends on the boys interest. Well a "sports theme party" like if he interseted in football just get a cake in somewhat football shape, plan some games related to football items, plates with football all over.. You can go for superhero theme latest being spiderman........depends on interst
We did a "SURVIVOR" theme for my 10 year old. We purchased two colors of bandana's & put them in a bag & when each guest arrived, they pulled out a bandana & joined their "tribe." Then, we had several different challenges for the tribes to compete in. We decorated the yard with tiki torches & had a fire pit & served bbq (but gave the food different names). The kids had a blast.
