Do you like a good mess??....Get your mom to grab 2 colors of tempera paint {its non toxic} and mix it up in 2 buckets ..get a couple of packs of sponges and cut them into 4 throw them into the paint...Tell everyone to bring goggles {have some sxtras just in case} and wear play clothes..White t-shirts are the best!...then go outside and have a paint fight!...We did this for my sons 10th b-day and I even got in on the action myself!....We did girls against the boys...Girls had pink and boys had blue....It was SO fun!....Then we had spoonless sundaes....Just a big blob of cool whip and chocolate sauce and sprinkles RIGHT in their hands..no bowls no spoons!...What a great mess!....This would be an outside party of course!....Then if its hot you can turn on the sprinkler and run around to get cleaned up!
Tell your Mom that the paint is waterbased and washable with a quick hose when you are done or will wash off in the next rain if you want to keep it for a bit!
play party games like pin the tail on the donkey, or I like this one: secretly place a peice of masking tape marked winner on the underside of a chairseat where children will be sitting when they eat cake. and tell um all to look under thier chair for the winner tape(I always do it after they eat cake) and give the 1 with the winner tape a party prize. A candy filled pinata for them to take turns whacking at is a great game for boys. hope you have a grat party

This is something that I played at my friend's birthday party: Have all of the kids at the party sit in a circle. Give everyone a gord or an apple, or whatever you think would be easiest to pass around in a circle. Give one to everyone except the birthday boy. Play some music, then stop it whenever you want to. When the music stops everyone should be homding something. If someone has 2, put one in the center and if someone doesn't have one they can take the one in the center. If a person ends up not getting one, then they're out. Keep doing this until there is a winner.
