Were can i find roman-appetizers?!

Question:

Were can i find roman-appetizers?

Answers:
we had this one in Rome... I guess that makes it roman.

Take a baguette, and cut it into 1/2 inch slices. Drizzle Extra Virgin Olive oil on them, and salt and pepper, then place in an oven and broil for 3 minutes. Slice some good mozerella really thin, place on top of toasted bread, cut some tomato really thin and put on top of the cheese, then place a leaf of basil ontop of that, and your done. OR.... you can place everything seperate on a tray to have people assemble themselves.

Not sure if you want old recipes or today so here are ideas for both

these are ancient and adapted...

These are very helpful, specially the enhanced search of Epicurious.

Good luck
