I think a campout with barbecue would be fun, and or a pool party, or set up a volleyball net or bocci ball, or whatever lawn games!.
You can rent dvd projection systems, and set it up outside!. Throw the image onto the garage wall, or similar outdoor surface (you can also hang a white sheet from a clothesline!.) You might be able to park a car out near the setup and hook it's speakers into the projector so you have sound coming out of the car system!.
Arrange blankets and sleeping bags and big throw pillows in the yard, get all the popcorn, movie snacks (you can purchase the movie type treats at Sam's Club/Costco, etc) and watch the latest DVD release, or throw a marathon with a certain theme!. With the new Indiana Jones coming out, you might pile in and go see the feature, then come back and watch the other three back to back!.
Then go to your (correct) tents and sleep off the night's activities!.
A girly girl activity would be to throw a spa party!. There are tons of crafting supplies to make your own bath and beauty products, and lots of recipes that are made of plain food items!. Melt and pour soap is really easy!. So is bath salt and sugar scrub, and I have heard that those fizzy bath bombs are easy too!. Get supplies (including a few different essential oils or fragrances) to make a few different things, and make sure you have experimented so you know what you are doing!. You can send the girls home with some of everything that was made!. You can make it a sleepover if you like, or go out to dinner before hand!.
You could do a fancy schmancy party where all your friends get dressed up and go out to a nice restaurant!. Maybe you could arrange a short class with an etiquette teacher before you go!.!.!.it's a good life skill (your gift to them) and it would be fun to do it together!.
You could do a do-gooder party where your main "entertainment" activity is collecting cans for a food bank, serving at a shelter, or helping an elderly person paint their house!. Then come back for snacks at your house!. If you are feeling particularly charitable, knowing you will get gifts!.!.!.ask your friends to pick out something for the person you are helping!.
You could have a dance party!.!.!.the twist is to ONLY use the music that most of you HATE!. Find something good about it, make fun of it, dress the part, etc!. My niece just had her 16th birthday party and it was a Hawaiian theme!.Everything from grass skirts,torches, Hawaiian flowers, Hawaiian punch, Hawaiian music etc!.She asked that everyone who attended wear Hawaiian outfits!. They had an awesome time!Www@FoodAQ@Com
