16th birthday?!
I'm turning 16 on monday but i'm having my party on saturday!. i'm am having a theme party where everyone is dressing up like a character from their favourite movie and I have a little game we are going to play!. I'm going to ask them questions about that movie and we are going to watch a litle clip!. we are about 10 girls and 2 of them can only stay for an hour!. are there any other ideas anyone have or games we can play so that no one can get bored or anything!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can play Charades being it's a movie theme and guess different movies being it's a movie theme party!.
also, being you're doing a movie theme, get a red fabric and lie it down at the entrance of your house and put some solar lilghts or stringed Christmas lights so your friends will be walking in on the red carpet and take pictures of them!.
also, get a white sheet and hang it somewhere and take pictures in front of it, like when the stars are on the red carpet and they stop and take pictures, you can hang the sheet so there's nothing behind you to get in the way or distract, just a plain white sheet and you and your friends can pose in front of it and take pictures!.
For other games, you can do:
You can have quotes from the characters your friends are dressing as, but when you say the quote, don't say which character said it, just read the quote and everyone has to guess which character said which quote!. For instance, in the show, Sex and the City, Carrie goes off and says, "how do you sustain a relationship without the zsa zsa zsu", if that was a movie and someone dressed as her, you would read the quote and everyone would have to guess which character in the room said that!.
What about a trivia pursuit movie theme!? I'm not sure if they make one, but check Toys r' us or amazon!.com and see if they make one in movie theme!. If so, you can play the game with just the cards and the questions and whoever answers the most right wins!.
You can also find out which characters won which awards and see if your friends who dress up as those characters know it!. If you can find out before hand who is dressing up as who, go online and do a search and see who won what award for their character in that movie!. Then, without telling your friends make that a game and ask, say, " who won the ____award for best actress in a drama" and see if they can answer!. If they're dressing as that person they should know, the person to get the most right wins!
You can also do best dressed, funniest costume, most original, etc!.

If you have audio equipment, you could take audio clips from recent big screen movies and have everyone guess what movie it came from!. Or, just write out one line of dialogue and guess what movie it's from!. Like: "I'll have what she's having!." (From When Harry met Sally!.)
You could do the one where the names of famous stars are written on a label!. Everybody chooses one (don't look at it) and someone else peels it off and puts it on your forehead!. Then, you all have to guess what star's name is on your head - but they can only answer Yes or No questions!. Like - am I a comedian!? Am I male/female!? Am I dead!? Everybody runs around looking at the other names and asking each other questions until the first one guesses right!. Or, keep going until the last one has been guessed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Clothes swap! Have all your girlies bring their old clothes, shoes, accessories, books, etc that don't fit their bodies or their style anymore (or if they are just sick of looking at them) and have them trade for new!. It's a great way to recycle, clean out those closets for summer, and score some new to you goodies!. My girls and I always have a blast when we do this, and you, being the birthday girl, would have first pick of course! Have fun!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
