Dressing up a plain gem donut?!

Question: Dressing up a plain gem donut!?
I'm having a big party soon, and I wanted to serve donuts as part of the buffet!. Any suggestions for "dressing" the donut so that it looks fancy AND tasty!? Dippings, sauces, and other ideas! :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Oh, what a great idea! I was thinking of having a birthday donut cake this year, with a dozen stacked into a pyramid with candles!.

Maybe drizzle nutella over them in funky patterns!. Or else there's all kinds of berry sauces that exist!. I worked in a kitchen for a while and we used them all the time to make dessert look more gourmet!. Or else cocoa powder or white sugar powder!. Maybe fresh berries to go alongside, not to mention a little whipped cream!.!.!. mmmmmmm!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
