i would rent a blow up bouncy thing and have the kids do that, have stations where you have blowing bubbles, chalk, jump ropes!. now a days the kids dont even watch the birthday person open presents!.!.!.if you want you could leave that out!. i would have pizza and then after that have cake and ice creamWww@FoodAQ@Com

You have way too many kids to be able to make games work unless you have several other adults to be "coaches" !.!.I suggest hiring a magician or a clown for a few hours!. I usually do "field day" games at my kids parties but thats with 15-20 kids and the younger they are!.!.the harder they are to control!.

The bouncy house thing is fine!.!.for a smaller number of children but they can only hold 10 kids at a time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Bounce house and pinata are the best way to go !.!.!.!. I'd let them play awhile, and then eat, - have cake - let them play some more!. Don't even try open the presents at the party! Your daughter, and all the other kids, are going to get VERY bored sitting there, while she opens 50 gifts!Www@FoodAQ@Com

50 kids!? Wow!. I would be interested to see what you do for her 16th birthday!? LOL
I hope you have other adults to help supervise!.

Play games first and eat before opening presents!. That way hopefully they'll be so pooped out they'll be able to sit still and watch!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Do pass the parcel and musical chairs!.
Play singing games and maybe a karioke or something like that!.
have the dinner first and then when the main dinner is done have the cake for pudding and then let the child open the presentsWww@FoodAQ@Com

Hi! This article has alot of fun ideas - scroll down, esp!. towards the end:

http://www!.associatedcontent!.com/article!.!.!.

It's written for a July 4th party, but the ideas are still great!.

Hope this helps! :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

have you tried renting one of those bounce house castles!. My sister did for her daughters 6th and the kids and parents had a blast and don't forget to bob for apples if its hot!. even a pinata is fun for 6 year oldsWww@FoodAQ@Com

In addition to a bouncy house, (we got the really big one that is a obstacle course, we also rented the cotton candy machine, which was a BIG hit!
We did bobbing for apples and throw darts at balloons!. (make sure you have a very responsible adult to help with this) We only had one dart so there were no problems
Use a piece of peg board from Home Depot and blow up the little balloons and stick the end right thru the holes!. You can get 50 in there!. We also took a piece of plywood and cut it in half then painted it bright green and drilled holes in it with a hole saw, then put numbers above each whole and let them toss plastic balls thru the holes!. At the end of each childs turn, we gave them gold coins (party city) and then at the end of the party, they traded in the coins for small prizes!.
You will probaly have to break that many kids up into groups, so make sure you have LOTS of help!. Keep the menu simple
We did the bouncy first, then ate, the kids did the games while I cleaned up somewhat and then we did cake and cotton candy toward the end!. It was so wet here during the party due to rain so I really cut it back and the kids had the best time!. We did presents when everyone left!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

That's a lot of kids, but there's lots you can do!

If you can afford to do so, rent a bouncy house, that's the best way to entertain that many children that age!. They love it and for that many children, it's the best way!.

You can do games in your back yard!. Have relay races, potato sack races, three legged races, wheel barrel races, etc, the egg on the spoon race, but partner them up where there's 2 kids per spoon!.

Instead of a pinata, you're going to need about 2 pinata, I would still do them, but I would do the one that you pull the string and I would get 2!. You can fill them with those bags of pinata filler that they sell in the same aisle as the pinatas!.

You can set up an ice cream bar!. Get chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream and some toppings!. Sprinkles, whipped, and chocolate syrup, and get some some paper bowls and let the kids make their own sundaes!.

I would eat and play games first and do the presents last!. It's going to be so much commotion with that many children that age, and if your child opens her presents first, they may get ruined if the other kids open and start playing with them during the party!. It's one thing to share and play with them, but it's a big party and you don't want everything to get opened and taken apart when you can't focus on it!. I would open the presents as the last part of the party when you can be there with her and give it your're attention!. I would do it AFTER the food and games and cake, when all the kids have done what they're going to do and it's the last part of the party!. This way she opens her presents with YOU there to focus on what's happening and when everyone leaves you can then open the boxes and put toys together with her and then on another day she can invite her friends over to play with her with the toys!.

If you open presents first, you're going to have other kids wanting to open the boxes and taking her toys apart and before you know it, pieces will be missing and her toys will be broken, etc, It's too many kids to do that with!. I would wait until after you do the games, food, and cake, and then when you can sit down in a circle with everyone and you're sitting next to her, then open the presents!.

For other games, you can do musical chairs and set up chairs or pillows and things, you can put everything in a circle and do that with them!.

Is there a game that your daughter has that's a favorite of her's that she would like to play!? You can ask her and play that at the party!.

You can do kickball, soccer, and team games being you have so many kids!. Play softball, volleyball, kickball, etc!.

You can do hot potato, you can also do where the kids stand in a circle with their hands either at their sides or behind their backs, and they have to pass a ball or potato to each other with JUST their chin!. I've done that with my niece at her parties and it was a BIG hit! They stand in a circle, use NO hands and pass the ball or whatever with just their chin, whoever drops the ball is out, and whoever is left standing wins!. The kids have a LOT of fun with that one!

Being you have such a large group, you can do a craft project with them!. Go to Orientaltrading!.com and they sell things in craft kits that you can get 20 sets in a kit and you can have the kids set up at a table and do the crafts!.

You can do sidewalk chalk and let them draw and do what they want on your driveway, etc!.

Buy lots of bubbles and let the kids have fun with the bubbles!.

You can type in party games on any internet search and come up with lots of sites that will give you ideas for different age groups of games you can do!.

I hope some of these ideas help and that your daughter has a great party and a very Happy Birthday!Www@FoodAQ@Com
